My hope is to guide you through a judgment-free exploration of what has brought you to this point in your life, acknowledging that some of the beliefs you carry may not have originated with you, and creating space to reconnect with your true self.
Even when you come in for one-on-one therapy, you are still a human being in relationship with other human beings. Our joys, our pain, and our plans are deeply connected to the people around us. In individual therapy, we can explore patterns related to boundaries, communication, and support, and how these show up in your life and relationships.
Together, we’ll also work to build your emotional toolbox and develop a new lens for understanding your past experiences — one rooted in grace, empathy, and compassion for yourself. I want you to feel connected to your resilience and to move through life with more curiosity, fulfillment, and a sense of being nurtured in your relationships.
As a first-generation therapist, I understand the unique pressures that can come with navigating multiple cultures, family expectations, and identity. Many first-generation individuals carry a deep sense of responsibility, guilt, or the feeling of being “in between” worlds. In therapy, we make space to explore these experiences with compassion — honoring your family and culture while also making room for your own needs, boundaries, and growth.
